With the bookplate of one W H Foster to the front pastedown. William Henry Foster was an English Conservative party politician. He sat in the House of Commons for fifteen years. An inscription to the half title addressed to Foster from Arthur Foster. These reminiscences are of Albert Pell, an MP for South Leicestershire. It is edited, with an introduction by Thomas Mackay. With a frontispiece and four plates. Collated, complete. A finely bound copy of this work.

In a half morocco binding with cloth covered boards. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Bookplate to the front pastedown, W H Foster. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with just the odd spots.
