A very scarce work, rarely seen in commerce. Dated via WorldCat.
Containing a series of beloved fairy tales including 'Aladdin,' 'Puss in Boots,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' Blue Beard,' and others. With illustrations in text and both in colour and in black and white and sixteen full page plates in colour.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding with colourful illustration to front. Externally with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, boards lightly marked. Previous owner's gift inscription to front free endpaper, dated 1911. Internally, firmly bound. Minor faint spotting to first and last few leaves affecting odd leaf only. Pages otherwise generally very clean and bright throughout.
