In this very scarce first edition, Carse relays the history of the monarchy, from Henry VII to Edward VII, in rhyming couplets.

A continuation of Carse and Heath Robinson's 'Merry Monarchs of England', first published in four volumes the year prior.

An excellent copy of this very scarce first edition, subtitled 'humorous rhymes of historical times'.
