The first edition of this work. An extensive work on fishing, drawing parallels between the art of the angler, and the art of a landscape painter. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, and thirty-one colour plates. Written and illustrated by Ernest Edward Briggs. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards and spine. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd spot.
