Pleasing Copy, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

A very scarce little booklet comprising a short story by Charles Dickens. Dated from a copy on WorldCat 1907. 

One of the De La More Press booklets, which include various titles by notes authors. 

A little story featuring the kind-hearted character of Tom Pinch, who first appears in The Life and Adventures of Martin Chuzzlewit. In this booklet, he is taking an exciting journey from Salisbury to London, sharing his throughout and observations. 

An excellent copy.

Condition

In the original publisher's limp lambskin binding with decorations in gilt to the front board. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear only and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. With a previous owner's inscription to the rear free endpaper, undated. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
