First published in 1904, this is a later September printing of the 1907 first illustrated edition of the work, in a charming pictorial cloth binding. 

Illustrated with a frontispiece and thirty-one further plates, illustrated from photographs by Helene Philippe.

Collated, complete.

This charming novel follows Domini Enfilden, a wealthy Englishwoman who travels to French Algeria, accompanied only by her maid.

Condition

In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Boards bright. Light shelf wear to back strip tail, with back strip lightly faded. Front hinge strained, and a touch tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
