In the publisher's original cloth, re-backed. 

Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, monochrome vignettes and twenty-three colour plates. Collated complete. 

This work on Paris was written by Dorothy Menpes and illustrated by her brother Mortimer with beautiful colour illustrations which depict the beauty of the iconic city. The work provides depictions of the Siene, the theatres, the people and much more.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth, re-backed. Externally very smart with minimal wear to the extremities and a very slight lean. Front hinge starting with a bookseller's label to the front pastedown, a past owner's signature to the front free endpaper and offsetting. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned pages with light spotting throughout, heavier to the front.
