Richly illustrated throughout, and with a frontispiece and further sixteen full page illustrations, by Reginald L. Knowles and Horace J. Knowles.

Lacking the original front free endpaper, which is instead provided in facsimile.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Fading to back strip, with light bumping to back strip head and tail. Front hinge strained, but firmly held. Front free endpaper supplied in facsimile. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
