What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

The first and only edition of this work. Very scarce and very appealing.

In the publisher's original illustrated boards. This work was issued by Perrier Water, with their copyright and logo to the verso of each leaf. The illustrator of this work, Charles Crombie, was an editorial cartoonist. He produced many humorous postcard cartoons such as 'The Rules of Golf' which was first published by Perrier in 1906.

A fantastic copy of this scarce work.

Condition

In the original quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with some handling marks and fading to the board edges. The staples to the spine have rusted slightly, but remain in a sound condition. Internally, firmly bound. Title page has minor offsetting. Otherwise pages are very bright and clean. Recent acid-free tissue guards have been loosely inserted to preserve the leaves.
