Thomas Morland was an English painter who mainly painted rustic scenes of farming hunting and rich textured landscapes which were informed by Dutch Golden Age Painting.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart indeed with some light marks to the rear board and bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A previous owner bookplate to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
