With a frontispiece and 11 plates. Collated complete. 

This work contains details on the church plate of the city of Chester and was written by T. Stanley Ball. The 'church plate' is a collective term for objects in the church coated in precious metals.

Condition

Ex-Library copy. In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, very smart with bumping to the extremities resulting in light rubbing, slight fading to the spine, the odd very light mark and minor discolouration to the extremities to the top of the front board. Ex-library book plate to the front pastedown and very light offsetting to the front free end paper. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with the odd mark and the odd spot to the half title. The odd unopened page.
