Written by a fellow British Army officer, Lieutenant General Sir William Francis Butler. A comprehensive account of the Crimean War, through the life of this crucial military figure.

Condition

In a fine tree calf binding. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear to the extremities. Bookplate to the front pastedown, Queen Elizabeth's School Barnet. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright. Occasional light spots to the first and last few pages.
