The first edition of this scarce work in a half calf binding with gilt detailing to the spine and marbled end papers. Top edge gilt. Binder's stamp of Hatchards, 187, Piccadilly, to the verso of the front free end paper.

A guide to hunting by Colonel R. F. Meysey-Thompson, with advice on etiquette and accessories. The various different types of hunting are covered, including hunting stags, foxes and hares. With an appendix and index to the rear.

Condition

In a half calf binding by Hatchards. Externally, smart and bright, except for fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean, with the odd spot to the last couple of pages, and marginal offsetting to the end papers.
