The Edition De Luxe, limited to two hundred copies printed, of which this is number twenty three. Signed by both the author and the illustrator to the limitation page. Walter Jerrold's is in a fading blue ink. Bound in half vellum.
Illustrated with sixty full page stunning drawings in colour tipped in throughout. Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original publisher's half vellum binding. Externally very smart with some shelf wear and a minor rubbing to the cloth to the front board, and the occasional faint handling marking. The spine is slightly bumped to the head and tail. Internally, firmly bond. With a faint minor spotting to the first and last few leaves, and the occasional faint odd spot to the leaves. Generally, the pages are very bright and clean throughout. With a minor vertical crease to the limitation page through to the title page. Illustrated with sixty full page stunning drawings in colour tipped in throughout. Collated, complete.
