What Our Customers Say...

Description

Illustrated

In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. All edges gilt. 13 plates including the frontispiece, and numerous illustrations in the text. Collated complete. The Green Fairy Book assembles stories from Spanish and Chinese traditions. It is the third volume in Lang's popular series of 25 Fairy Books and is illustrated with delightful engravings by Henry Justice Ford (1860-1941).

Condition

In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally smart, with bumping to the extremities, the boards and the head and tail of the spine. One small loss to the tail of the spine. The front hinge is starting but still reasonably firm. Internally, the binding is slightly strained in a couple of places. Pages are generally clean with the odd spot and handling mark.
