Including lectures given by John Ruskin, honorary student of Christ Church and honorary fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford, to an all girls' school on the topic of geology and minerals. The lectures are written in the format of conversational plays, which Ruskin intended to be performed and interacted with. Also including a preface to the second edition (1877), a preface to the first edition (1865), and an index.

Condition

Handsomely bound in full calf. Externally, excellent with very minor rubbing to extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean.
