This fascinating biographical work offers an in depth understanding regarding Lord Randolph Churchill, the British statesman and founder of the National Union of the Conservative Party, written by the former Prime Minister and British liberal Archibald Primrose, the 5th Earl of Rosebery. The two were very good friends, with the idea for the work originally suggested by Churchill's mother.

In the original green cloth binding. Externally in excellent condition with minor rubbing to the extremities. Bookplate to front pastedown. Contemporary ink signature to front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just the very occasional spot. Pages roughly cut.
