    Description

    Illustrated, Limited Edition, Signed, Very Scarce

    This is number 352 of 400 copies. A limited edition of this work. Signed by Rouveyre to the title page. Undated, dated using Library Hub. Held in a quarter vellum binding, with paper covered boards. Held in a custom slipcase. With a preface by Robert de Montesquiou, which discusses the art of caricature. The preface is in French. With twenty-four bright illustrated plates by Andre Rouveyre. Rouveyre was an early twentieth century French writer, caricaturist and graphic artist. His style was a mixture of Minimalism and Expressionism.

    Condition

    In a quarter vellum portfolio binding. With paper covered boards. Held in a custom slipcase. Externally, generally smart. With heavy spotting to the boards and spine. Internally, disbound, as issued. Author's signature to the title page. Pages are very bright. Just the odd spot.
