Containing an account of the ancient history and modern uses of Hetling House, now named Abbey Church House, one of the few pre-Georgian buildings surviving in Bath. It was built by Edward Clarke in 1571.

Illustrated with a frontispiece and six plates. Collated, complete. 

Written by John Francis Meehan, the author of 'Famous Houses of Bath and District'. 

Condition

In the original wraps. Externally, very smart, with slight edge wear and a couple marks to the paper. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
