In quarter crushed morocco binding with marble paper covered boards. 

This work covers in detail the major coaching roads to Bath, Exeter, Portsmouth, Brighton, Dover, York and Holyhead roads. It was written largely with the consideration of the traveller and not confined to any particular era.

Throughout the work are fascinating descriptions of the social life which passes between the province and London.

Condition

In quarter crushed morocco binding with marble paper covered boards. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout.
