The eleventh nationwide census, the Census of 1901 noted a population of over forty-one million, with a foreign-born population of 1.4%.

Including information classified by age, married status, occupations, birthplace, religion, education history and infirmities.

A scarce original source for England's population at the turn of the twentieth century.

From Nottingham Public Library; with their label to the front board and plates to the front pastedown and endpaper. 

Bound with an excellent map of the world to the rear of the work.

Condition

In a full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with just a little wear to the joints. Library location in gilt to the tail of the spine. Reference library label to the front board. Slight bumping to the extremities. Library labels and plates to the front endpaper and pastedowns; small purple stamps occasionally throughout the work. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
