A copy of The Horse, Its Treatment in Health and Disease in a Talwin Morris binding. Talwin Morris was a prolific book designer and decorative artist working in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly known for his Glasgow Style furniture, metalwork and book designs. A publisher's sample copy. Pages lacking throughout the volume, as to be expected. Illustrated with 12 colour plates and 12 black and white plates. In-text engravings throughout. Incorporates fold-out blocked spine sample designs to the rear.

Condition

In a green cloth binding with decorative front board. Externally generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Ink inscription to front pastedown. Internally generally firmly bound, with pages loosening in places. Pages generally bright and clean throughout, save for some scattered foxing. Pages missing throughout.
