Written by Robert Burton (1577-1640), an English writer best known for this work, which has attracted readers such as Samuel Johnson, Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Beckett and John Keats.

Complete in three volumes.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
