Condition

In the original red cloth binding with gilt decoration. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting. Light age toning to the endpapers. Sympathetic repairs made to the folding map with tape to the reverse of closed tears. School prize bookplate to the front pastedown.
