This volume explores the inventions of Alberto Santos-Dumont, who was a Brazilian aeronaut, sportsman and inventor who dedicated himself to aeronautical study and experimentation in Paris. He designed and built the first powered airships and this volume explores this. 

With numerous illustrations based on photographs and sketches of his vehicles.

Condition

Rebound in cloth. Externally, lovely. With an institutional stamp to the half title page. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright pages that are a little age toned. Page remain clear.
