James Edward (1778-1841) and his shooting journals have been used as a prime source of information to provide insight into the sporting activities of upper class and aristocratic societies of England at this time.
With gilt lettering to the front board and spine.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The spine is slightly worn. The front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
