First edition. Illustrated with thirty portrait plates in black, white, and yellow. Collated complete. A collection of caricatures of the artist's choosing, including names such as: Gabriele D'Annunzio, George Brandes, Eleonora Duse, Maxim Gorki, Paul Seyfe, and Henrik Ibsen. Illustrated by Olaf Gulbransson, a Norwegian artist, designer, and painter.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Minor fraying to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light age toning to the first and last few pages.
