A detailed study on the growth of wild flowers across the year with reference to each individual monthly cycle. Volume one covers the period from March to June, with volume two covering Written by Edward Step, a British author of many popular and specialist books on subjects including botany, zoology and mycology. Illustrated by Thomas Baddeley, a British illustrator and photographer.

Condition

In the original full green cloth binding with gilt and a photographic inset. Externally, very smart with minor rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting predominantly to the first and last few pages. Minor age toning to the endpapers.
