The first edition of this work in the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. The personal anecdotes of Harry Furniss (1854-1925), who was a British illustrator for Illustrated London News and Punch, as well as Lewis Carroll's Sylvie and Bruno. An uncommon work, illustrated throughout by the author. 16 pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear.
Condition
In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally smart, with a little fading to the spine and extremities, with small marks to the spine. Front hinge is strained but remains firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
