This work was written by British historian Frederick Seebohm. The work discussing the tribal system in Wales including the structure of the society, the land system in Anglesey and the chieftainship in the tribe. Seebohm has written other works on tribal communities, such as his 1902 'Tribal Custom in Anglo-Saxon Law'.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally generally smart with a slight lean, bumping resulting in small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine, marks to the boards and spine, light rubbing to the extremities and slight discolouration the spine. Offsetting to the end papers with pencil annotations to the rear and an ink inscription to the front free end paper. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with very light age toning and minor pencil annotations to the odd page.
