Complete in two volumes. Containing the collected poems of Dante Gabriel Rossetti, famous English poet of the nineteenth century, founder of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. He was also an illustrator and painter, part of the Rossetti family and early inspiration to both William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones.
This work is illustrated from his own pictures and designs. Collated, complete with frontispiece to each volume as well as eighteen full page plates.
Edited with an introduction and notes by W. M. Rossetti.
Condition
In the original publisher's uniform quarter paper vellum bindings over cloth covered boards. Externally very smart with light bumping to head and tail of spine, darkened to spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
