John Bunyan (1628-1688) was a Puritan preacher and writer, with the majority of his works being expanded sermons.
With eight plates in colour by Harold Copping, a British illustrator best known for his Biblical scenes. Collated, complete.
The gift inscription to the front endpaper reads: 'Emily Sloman, in loving remebrance of her connection with Miss S. B. Pearse's Class, April 1907.'

Condition
In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a little general wear. Gift inscription to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound, with just the slightest strain at the title page. Pages have just the odd spot.
