1904 The Housewife's What's What
What Our Customers Say...
First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce
The first edition of this work.
A very scarce work.
A comprehensive Edwardian guide to housekeeping, very practical and probably the high point of the subject.
Written by Mary Davies.
Six pages of publisher's adverts to the rear.
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine and rear board are a little faded. A little rubbing to the joints. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean.
