Illustrations by English landscape artist John Fulleylove, including a colour frontispiece and ninety two colour plates.
Six pages of original adverts to rear of book.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Cloth is bright with gilt illustration on front board and spine. Some slight fading to the spine, with some bumping to head and tail, and to the extremities. Some marks to front and rear boards, including a faint ring mark to the front board. Some spotting on fore edge. Front hinge is starting, but remains firm. Spotting to front and rear paste downs, with age toning on recto front endpaper. Blind stamp on rear endpaper. Internally, binding is a little strained in places. Pages are generally bright and clean, with a few scattered spots throughout the text. Colour plates are bright and clean.
