Author's Presentation Copy, Publishers' Original Binding

Major William Wood was President of the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec, as well as Secretary to the Quebec branch of the Navy League, and major of the 8th Royal Rifles in the Canadian Militia. This work is an account of military and naval affairs, taken from the history of the Great Imperial War of the eighteenth century.

Inscribed by the author, 'To Aunt Amelia Smith, with love from William Wood, 1904'.

Contains a wonderful colour map in a pocket at the rear of the work, in excellent condition.

In the publisher's original binding.

Condition

In a full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, bumping to the tail of the spine and stains to the spine and back board. Internally firmly bound, pages slightly age toned, with the odd spot heavier to first and last pages.
