This is a copy of the first UK edition of Reminiscences of the Civil War by General John B. Gordon, published by Constable & Co in 1904, with the first edition being published by Scribner's Sons in 1903. 

General John B. Gordon was a general of the Confederate Army and by the end of the war he had become one of Robert E. Lee's most trusted generals. 

With three portrait plates, all three plates have library stamps for Kensington Public Libraries.

This volume is an ex-library copy.

Collated, complete.

Condition

Rebound in an institutional morocco binding. Externally, generally smart with some bumping and rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and some marks to the spine and boards. This volume is an ex-library copy and there is library stickers to the front pastedown and free endpaper. There are also library stamps to the title page, final page and plates. Internally, the volume is generally firmly bound with generally bright pages. There are some scattered spots throughout the volume, concentrated to the first few pages.
