Best known for his compositions of rustic scenes and textured landscapes informed by Dutch Golden Age painting. Written by George C. Williamson, a British historian, antiquarian, and author.

Condition

In the original quarter cream cloth binding with brown cloth boards. Externally, smart with light bumping to the extremities and some marks to the front board and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with light spotting to the first and last few pages.
