First US edition of From Paris to New York by Land by Harry de Windt in the original publisher's cloth binding.
A scarce edition of this work journaling the lengthy voyage. Complete with two folding colour maps of the route and various illustrations from photographs.
Harry de Windt was the aide-de-camp to Charles Brooke, Rajah of Sarawak, and is best known as a travel writer and explorer.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, resulting in some slight wear to the cloth in these areas. There are some light marks to the boards. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
