Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is slight evidence of what may have been a circulating library plate or similar to the front board. The hinges are strained. Prior owner's book plate to the first pastedown and newspaper clippings attached to the first free endpapers. Prior owner's ink inscription from 1905 to the title page. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
