    Description

    Early Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

    Entertaining volume containing rhyming games, songs, anecdotes and jokes, sayings, and many beloved stories including 'Blue Beard,' 'Jack the Giant Killer,' 'Little Red Riding Hood,' and 'Cinderella' among others. The second edition of this work, first published in 1903. Illustrated with a frontispiece.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's full cloth binding with titles on paper title label to spine. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, spine title label rubbed. Evidence of the removal of stickers scattered to front endpapers. Newspaper columns concerning children's rhymes tipped in to rear endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
