What Our Customers Say...

Description

Early Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

Samuel Laing was a well known science writer, made known with his writings Modern Science and Modern Thought.

He believed in scientific progress and was positive about the modernisation of the world. In this pamphlet, originally published in 1893, he discusses the ancient philosophy of Zoroastrianism in relation to Christianity. The cheap edition.

He argues that the ancient practice was more consistent with modern science than the Christian thoughts, and incites the Church to abandon traditional theology and focus on Jesus as an ideal of humanity rather than as the saviour.
