Written by Thomas Humphry Ward, an English author and journalist who usually wrote as Humphry Ward, best known as the husband of the author Mary Augusta Ward, and W. Roberts, a British historian.
Condition
In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities resulting in light fraying of the cloth. Fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spines. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Further spotting and light age toning to the extremities.
