Originally known as 'Lucifer', the Theosophical Review was founded by Helena Blavatsky in 1887. Its editors were Annie Besant and George Robert Stowe Mead.
Three volumes, being Volume XXXIV covering March until August 1904, Volume XXXVI covering March until August 1905, and Volume XXXIX, covering September 1906 until February 1907.
Containing the writings of R. Monthey, G. R. S. Mead, G. E. Sutcliffe, A. Blackwood, Michael Wood, Annie Besant, E. H. C. Pagan, Florence Farr, Powis Hoult, Bertram Keightley, Thomas Taylor, Alice Rose Eyton, Alan Leo, Sydney Hallifax and A. A. Wells.

Condition
In a contemporary full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with slight bumping to the heads and tails of the spine and extremities. Ownership bookplate to the front pastedown and ownership inscription to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound, bar straining to the front hinge in the third volume.. Pages are bright and clean.
