Andrewes held high positions in the Church of England during the reigns of Elizabeth I and James I. He also importantly oversaw the translation of the King James Bible.

Including morning and evening prayers, and prayers for penitence, hope, praise, deprecation, and more.

Translated with an introduction and notes by F. E. Brightman.

Thirty-eight pages of adverts to the rear.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with some light rubbing and marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the spine and extremities. Spine is a little discoloured. Stamp and ink inscription to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some odd spots, mostly to the first and last few pages.
