What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding
A brilliant collection of short stories for adults by the noted children's author Edith Nesbit, with many of these tales touching on romantic themes largely unencountered in her better known children's works.
This collection includes eighteen tales, including 'The Unfaithful Lover', 'The Lie Absolute', 'Cinderella', 'The Love of Romance', and 'The Lover, the Girl, and the Onlooker'.
An uncommon first edition from the political activist and children's writer, the author of such novels as 'The Railway Children' and 'Five Children and It'.
With a forty page publisher's catalogue to the rear, dated April 1903.
