Handsomely bound in full tree calf prize binding for Sandroyd, awarded to 'T.C. Eden' (Sir Timothy Calvery Eden, 8th and 6th Baronet) in December 1905, brother to former UK Prime Minister Anthony Eden. 

Condition

Handsomely bound in full tree calf prize binding for Sandroyd. Externally, very smart, with just some light shelf wear and light rubbing to the joints, spine, and extremities. Containing a prize bookplate to the front pastedown, and a previous bookseller's sticker to the rear pastedown. Internally, front hinge is tender. Remaining binding is firm. The odd spot to the pages, which are otherwise bright and clean.
