A charming publication illustrating Parisian nightlife in the early twentieth century, with insights into the cabarets, cafes, salons, clubs, theatres &c that used to liven the streets of the capital and helped built the city's monumental reputation across the world.
Including illustrations and advertisements throughout.
Condition
In a quarter calf binding over cloth covered boards. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are generally very clean with only a touch of age toning, as usual. Richly illustrated in text, with one full page plate in colour to vol. 44.
