A first edition copy of this volume which is a personally collected history of Cape Colony by Mrs. A. F. Trotter. 

Cape Colony was a British colony in present day South Africa named after the Cape of Good Hope which existed from 1795 to 1805 and again from 1806 to 1910 when it united three other colonies to from the Union of South Africa. 

Illustrated throughout the volume.

With sixteen pages of publisher adverts to the rear.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light fading to the spine. A previous owner bookplate to the front pastedown for Howard Douglas Horsfall and his inscription to the front free endpaper dated 1907.
