This extensively illustrated and delightfully presented book details seven routes from London to Bath, Exeter, Portsmouth, Brighton, Dover, York and Holyhead.

Illustrated by Hugh Thomson, an Irish illustrator who illustrated for Jane Austen and Charles Dickens and Herbert Railton, who was a leading black and white illustrator of books and magazines.

Condition

Quarter red morocco binding with cloth covered boards. Externally, smart with some light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound with clean and bright pages. Some scattered spots to the first few pages and discolouration to the front free-endpaper.

Overall: Very Good Indeed
