With twenty four plates of tinted lithographs with tissue guards and twenty nine monochrome plates. Collated, complete.

Illustrations by Herbert Railton and tinted by Fanny Railton. 

This history of Cambridge includes topics such as 'Legendary Origin of the University' and 'Cambridge in the Norman Time'. 

With gilt to the front board and spine.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. There is some light spotting to the tissue guards.
